What services does SpinSisters offer?

We provide professional DJ services for weddings, private parties, and corporate events, including ceremony music, live mixing, MC duties, and dancefloor entertainment. We also offer playlist curation and production of event timelines with your planner or venue.

Where are you based and which areas do you cover?

SpinSisters is based in London, England and regularly serves clients across the city and surrounding regions, including nearby counties. We can confirm availability and travel options when you enquire.

How do I book and is there a consultation?

Booking is confirmed with a signed agreement and a deposit; the remainder is due before the event. We offer a free consultation to discuss music preferences, schedule, and special requests.

Can guests request songs or provide a do-not-play list?

Yes — you can submit must-play and do-not-play lists in advance, and guests can request tracks during the event if you prefer. The DJ will manage requests to keep the flow and energy consistent with your plan.

What equipment do you use and do you provide lighting?

We use professional-grade sound systems with backups to ensure reliability and high-quality audio. We also supply mood and dancefloor lighting; larger production packages are available on request with PA and lighting upgrades.

Do your DJs perform MC duties and announcements?

Yes, our DJs can act as MCs to introduce speeches, coordinate first dances, and make announcements according to your timeline. If you'd prefer a quieter role, we adapt to your direction and work alongside your planner or venue.

How are packages priced and can they be customised?

Packages are tailored to event size, duration, and required services, so we provide bespoke quotes rather than fixed prices. Add-ons like extended hours, extra lighting, or specialist equipment can be included to match your needs.

Do you travel to venues outside the local area and are there travel fees?

We travel to venues beyond the city and will outline any travel costs in your quote based on distance and logistics. For remote locations or multi-venue events, we discuss setup requirements and potential surcharges up front.

Laura was absolutely lovely to work with! Great energy, read the room well and kept everyone dancing all night long. Raving reviews from our guests! Our wedding was in Italy and she made the trip no problem. She also shared with us some videos afterwards that truly is the gift that keeps giving. Highly recommend!

We hired an incredible DJ (Emma 'the Baroness') via SpinSisters for a birthday event - the process was smooth, and the team very helpful. Emma was a dream to work with, understood exactly what was needed (and shared my taste in music, which was a huge bonus) - on the night she got everyone dancing for hours, and they all told me how awesome the music was and that they didn't want to leave. What more could you ask for! Thanks again for a special night.

We had Laura DJ at our wedding this weekend and she was AMAZING. The whole process from the first introductory call getting to know each other was great, she was always available via email and so friendly, and we fully trusted her with the process, and the party was a huge success. Thank you Laura for making it such a special event

I had seen lots of videos of SpinSisters on social media and was really excited to meet Laura and see if she could DJ at our wedding - she did not disappoint! Laura was so helpful from the outset and completely got what we were looking for. It was such an important part of the day for us (I love having a dance) and she kept the dancefloor full ALL NIGHT. The venue said they never see it that full til the end. I also wanted a sax player and Laura gave me lots of great recommendations which was really helpful. The night exceeded all of our expectations and we got so many "What a party!" comments/messages the next day. Thank you so much Laura!

Laura was incredible. Totally understood the atmosphere that we wanted for our wedding and played the best music. We had lots of compliments on what a fun evening it was. Also loved the extra videos she took from behind the DJ booth! Would definitely recommend.
